After nine years of going through intensive belly enlargement after my NS, I was called by our beloved country to serve as a Reservist. These are the few things I have learnt and felt from the 'grueling' 2-days.
1. SGT is a pretty big rank.
2. SGTs have to take charge of at least 11-15 men
3. 2 Officers per 100 men.
4. Encik elects which NCO to take charge of who.
5. I kena volunteered by the Encik to lead 59 men.
6. Some men (LCP, PTE) too cooperative...
7. No matter what just say YESSS!
8. Enthusiasm is contagious...
9. Learning comes naturally with full motivation....
10. Met the old company consisting of....
a. Mats who like to 'kahwin' many times but not nikah. (this includes married Mats)
b. Some Ah Bengs who cannot fill in and read forms...
c. Horny men...
d. The XXX jokers....
e. The foul mouths (1 to 5 vulgarity(ies)/min)
f. Golden Chain Mats (Invest in Pure Gold)
g. Golden Hair Mats (half Caucasian perhaps)
h. Fit squad people (Gold and Silver IPPT medalists)
i. Condemned squad people (Drugsters, some former DB Alumni)
j. Medical Appointment people (I cannot take IPPT lah SGT!)
k. Tattoed Mats and Bengs (tigers, dragons, naked girls, chinese calligraphy... mickey mouse)
l. kind and polite people (They exist!!!)
m. Melayu...melayu.. and more .........Melayu for good and bad
n. amazing collapsing people (Soft-hearted people)
Strangely I feel....
a. Nice
b. Motivated
c. Important
d. Relaxed
e. Chill
f. Lucky
g. Relief
h. at home
......and all this can classify me as a weirdo, crazy and lunatic to certain people.
