On Hari Raya Aidil Fitri....

I wish to to wish all my friends, relatives and fellow Muslims Eid Mubarak! May Allah accept all our good deeds, our worship (in any forms) and Taubah in this year's Ramadhan. May Allah grant us all happiness in this world and most importantly in the hereafter. May Allah lengthen our life to meet the next Ramadhan and Lailatul Qadr. I believe alas, only Allah knows when exactly is the Lailatul Qadr. This year some say it fell on 19th, some say 25th,some say 27th and some even say it fell on the 29th.

We Singapore Muslims are fortunate to celebrate both Ramadhan and Eid in peace. Many of our brethrens are caught in times of turmoil, hunger and suffering. May Allah grant peace to all Muslims and victory to those who struggle for Allah's Religion.

I'm very happy to see that many Muslim youngsters still regard the Eid as not just a holiday but a special day. And of course, there are still many who didn't fast or didn't know how to celebrate this Eid properly. May Allah grant all of us His Guidance and His Mercy, Ameen.
