Tahlil for al-Marhum Habib Ahmad Bin Semait

One of my most treasured teacher, Habib Ahmad Bin Semait. He taught me Tasawwuf by using Ihya Ulumiddin and permanently sealed me off from Wahabbism. A great Ulama who is very tawadhu. He conducts da'wah in both Malaysia and Indonesia regularly. I terribly missed the Ramadhan nights i spend with him as a ma'mum for terawih.


A tahlil was conducted at Masjid Abdul Razak on Sat 26 August. I couldn't attend his Tahlih as my parents are at my house at that time. I feel sad. He will always be dearly missed by me and my wife. I still regret not attending his class as regularly as possible. According to Habib Abbas, people like Habib Abdillah and Habib Ahmad can no longer be found in Singapore. No replacements. I must treasure the remaining asatizahs that are still available such as Ust Md Salleh.
